Rum punch on arrival

I drank a cold Rum punch when Cheron met me for a hotel tour. I ate a cooked meal she prepared in the apartment after she helped stock food before my arrival. I looked out at the ocean from the balcony and sat in the park across the street while I watched the sunset.

Laundry machines provided with detergent

I used the separate washing facilities and tumbler driers during my stay, which came supplied with detergent. I also watched television on the outdoor patio while I enjoyed the calm setting. June met me on arrival to explain the apartment features.

Private swimming near the apartment

I swam alone in the private pool each day after eating meals on the terrace. My family prepared snacks in the kitchen with the dishwasher and utensils provided, and we relaxed on the balcony while looking at the sea. The apartment sat directly across from a beach that remained quiet throughout our stay.

Private access to quiet palm trees

I walked directly from my apartment onto the quiet beach where I always found a shaded spot beneath the palm trees. Cyrus met me on arrival to explain the hotel, and the large balcony of my unit gave me a sea view for my meals. I used the beach chairs provided for guests while I spent the day listening to the waves.

Cold drinks in the apartment fridge

I found waters and beers waiting for me in the fridge when I arrived. Dave met me at the door to show me the apartment and the garden seating area, where I sat outside to enjoy the local surroundings. I caught the Zed-R mini-bus near the market for trips to Oistins and Bridgetown, which I reached after a short walk to the stop.

Airport transfers from Glyne

Glyne drove me to and from Grantley Adams International Airport in his vehicle. During the ride from the airport, he stopped so I could buy food. My apartment had a separate shower and toilet, along with a spare plug adapter for my phone charger. I enjoyed the garden while staying in this quiet area near the South Coast beaches.

Dining near the fire at Surfers Bay

I talked with locals every evening around the fire at Surfers Bay after walking there from the residential neighborhood. My unit had a balcony where I listened to tree frogs while I finished a typical Barbadian dish that Edmund and Tricica cooked. I used the kitchen in my apartment to store the water that the hosts provided upon my arrival.

Monkey sightings from the far corner

I saw monkeys from a distance at the end of my stay with the help of Erik. The far corner apartment held views of the sun and moon rising. I walked to Rescue Beach when I reminded me of it.
